General Questions

We specialize in treating a wide range of foot and ankle conditions including plantar fasciitis, bunions, heel pain, ingrown toenails, diabetic foot care, sports injuries, achilles tendonitis, and custom orthotics. Our experienced podiatrists provide comprehensive care for all lower extremity concerns.

In most cases, you do not need a referral to see our podiatrists. However, some insurance plans may require a referral from your primary care physician. We recommend checking with your insurance provider before your appointment.

Please bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications, and any relevant medical records. If you have custom orthotics or special footwear, please bring those as well. Arrive 15 minutes early to complete necessary paperwork.

Appointments & Insurance

You can schedule an appointment by calling our office at 703.273.9332 during business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) or by using our online appointment request form. We'll contact you to confirm your appointment time.

We accept most major insurance plans including Medicare, Medicaid, and many private insurance providers. Please contact our office to verify if we accept your specific insurance plan. Our staff will be happy to help verify your benefits.

We request at least 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to offer the time slot to other patients who may need care. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee.

Treatment & Care

Initial consultations typically take 45-60 minutes to allow for comprehensive evaluation and discussion of treatment options. Follow-up appointments are usually 20-30 minutes. We allocate sufficient time to address all your concerns.

Yes, we provide custom orthotics designed specifically for your feet and condition. We use advanced scanning technology to create precise molds that ensure optimal fit and support. Custom orthotics can help with various conditions including plantar fasciitis, flat feet, and biomechanical issues.

Many insurance plans, including Medicare, cover diabetic foot care services. Coverage varies by plan, so we recommend verifying your specific benefits with your insurance provider. Our billing staff can assist you with understanding your coverage.
